PJ Jackson
Founder & Visionary Leader | NETPREP Academy
I wasn’t supposed to be here.
Like too many young men in neighborhoods across America, I grew up in an environment where the statistics were stacked against me. Communities plagued by systemic false narratives, limited opportunity, and cycles that swallow far too many before they can escape. I saw it firsthand—and I lived it.
But I refused to become another number.
That refusal became the fuel that’s powered every chapter of my life, from the basketball court to the boardroom. And it’s the same passion that drives NETPREP Academy today—a mission rooted in purpose, built on leadership, and designed to create new lanes for young entrepreneurs and future leaders.
A Journey Fueled by Discipline & Purpose

Athlete | Scholar
My early life was defined by a commitment to excellence through basketball—a sport that became my passport to opportunity. I earned the honor of being ranked one of the top high school players in the country, which led to a scholarship and a successful collegiate career at Tusculum College.
There, I majored in Mass Communication, completing additional programs in Marketing and Graphic Design—foundational skills that would later drive my work as an entrepreneur and educator.

Professional Athlete | Global Perspective

Entrepreneur | Business Innovator
EdTech Builder | Market Leader
My entrepreneurial journey led to one of my most transformative experiences—helping launch and grow FEV Tutor, an online tutoring company that became a dominant force in the EdTech space.
Starting as a Student and Family Engagement Coordinator in a tiny six-person office in Woburn, MA, I worked side-by-side with Founders Dan Hebert and Ryan Patenaude as we built FEV Tutor into a market leader. I ultimately led recruitment efforts as the company expanded to 40+ team members across multiple offices.
Under our leadership, FEV Tutor surpassed its first $1M in sales in 2018 and grew to over $6.3M in sales by 2021. At its peak, FEV Tutor was managing $40M in contracts with school districts across the U.S.—before closing in 2025 due to the end of pandemic relief funding.
What I gained at FEV was priceless:

Deep understanding of the online education market.

Expertise in building scalable digital infrastructure.

Experience working with some of the brightest minds in EdTech.

Building a respected nationwide brand from scratch.
Much of what powers NETPREP Academy’s hybrid model today is directly informed by those lessons.

Coaching | Leadership Development
After FEV, I returned to a passion close to my heart—coaching basketball. I accepted the position of Head Associate Coach at Benedict College (NCAA DII), where I helped build a consistent, championship-caliber program that was nationally ranked TOP 10.
Our teams became a respected conference powerhouse, producing All-Americans, Player-of-the-Year winners, All-Conference honorees, and All-Academic performers. Many of these young men went on to play professionally—and several launched their own businesses, becoming the type of athlete-entrepreneur we champion at NETPREP.

Why NETPREP Academy?
Every experience—from the streets I came from, to the hardwood, to the boardroom—has prepared me to build NETPREP Academy into something the world has never seen:
An elite grassroots institution designed to equip the next generation of entrepreneurs with not just information, but real-world preparation, digital fluency, leadership skills, and most importantly, a deep sense of purpose.
My journey wasn’t easy.
It wasn’t straight.
But every lesson along the way has become part of the formula we’re now using to make NETPREP Academy one of the most impactful entrepreneurship ecosystems in the world.
For me, this isn’t just a business.
It’s a destiny.
And we’re just getting started.
