Summary
Establishes and administers programs for targeting, recruitment, and retention of students seeking
graduate or part-time involvement with NETPREP. Develops programs and marketing materials.
Visits schools and makes presentations to groups and individuals interested in learning more about
what NETPREP has to offer. Also, the supervision of our National, Regional and Local recruiters
along with putting together a Street Team for local events and community endeavors.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides career and academic counseling, planning, and advising to potential students; assists students in the development of testing strategies, writing skills, and completion of applications through seminars and workshops; coordinates applications for financial assistance and potential payment plans through NETPREP.
- Participates in the development of student recruitment and retention plans, strategies, and written materials.
- Visits high schools and vocational schools to speak to groups and individual students and meets with school counselors to promote NETPREP; coordinates community workshops and retreats; arranges visits from prospective students and parents.
- Serves as a liaison to develop partnerships between NETPREP and local school systems throughout targeted states.
- Creates a database (ex. Excel Worksheet) of prospective and current students and/or potential part-time and degree candidates that includes time and date stamps as well as last contact date and status.
- Creates and distributes marketing and advertising materials for student recruitment and retention with NETPREP.
- Prepares weekly reports and status to Board of Directors of NETPREP.
- Performs small miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned to help build enrollment at NETPREP.

- Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy,
and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures for enrollment. - Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.
- Knowledge of student recruitment and retention issues.
- Ability to analyze course prerequisites, certification, and/or curriculum/graduation
requirements. - Organizing and coordinating skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Distinguishing Characteristics
Position requires a) provision of on- and off-campus academic counseling, career planning,
and advisement to potential students; b) visiting high schools, and/or vocational schools to
deliver talks and represent NETPREP to potential students; c) coordination of on- and offsite recruitment events, workshops, and/or retreats; d) development and distribution of
recruitment marketing and advertising materials to boost enrollment.
Conditions of Employment and Compen$ation
- All regular, non-temporary part-time positions available will be paid on agreed
contingency per student for our Director of Student Recruiting. Also, our Director of
Student Recruiting will make additional income on a percentage basis for each student
our National, Regional and Local recruiters bring into NETPREP. - Employees who provide services to NETPREP will be subject to a Nationwide background
check as one of the conditions of hire.
